When the elevator and rudder servos die I will use the same servos that AJ recomended (got 4 in my spares box)
I have them fitted to a Zagnutz wing I built and they work well.
When they are back in stock be quick to grab some as they sell out fast

That's certainly my experience with this plane. I tried flaperons and it was tricky at slow speeds. Some folks like them but maybe they have cg different to mine

I tried flaps(flaperons) for altitude gliding and had limited success I then got a new radio and had a 3 position switch so programmed spoilerons and flaperons bot at about 15 degrees ... I don't think there is much help with either except to slow up for landing but then I used to turn them off for the actual landing so that I had good control to touch down.

With my shortened wing AXN I find the spoilerons really useful and land with them most of the time ... on it they make a huge difference for slower landings .. don't use 'flaps' at all on it though.

the AXN really accentuates a tip stall with any large amount of flaps and slow flying.

well, after a long and great flight....disaster!!!
One turn before landing, I hit a tree, a very tall one. Luckly I saved the plane (with the help of all my family), and surprise! the motor and prop (a new one) were broken

Just laugh a little

Btw, I was thinking about install a lighter motor, and try to make this plane a real floater. I will try that and post some pictures

on elevator we call it spoileron taileron? yes axn dont have flaps but yiu can use flaperons mix on your tx but you will need 2ch for aileron to do that, i have flaps on my axn at least it help when gliding but used it on landing will just make it float and dont want to land

well... taileron would be just like pushing the elev stick, wouldn't it? instant nose down actikn, I'd hate it as a means to slow down.

I have not use taileron or spoileron before so I don't know the effect , detachable wing getting troublesome to me now, I always need to trim every time I'm going to glue back the wing and make it permanent, the problem is I can't bring my plane around for long trip with passenger in my car anymore, before I can detach and throw it in my trunk and happy to know the CF can be flown at the end of my destination
