I think the rc-model.cn isnt the manufacturer (AXN) but a distributor for AXN and a few other companies

Need some advise.... what's is the best way to repair the fuse ?

I always fly over tall grass fields so crashing has never been an issue but this morning I went to the local football field and I did crashed it pretty hard.

The nose is bent to the right and cracked on 3 places. I know I can use my foam safe CA glue for the cracks but as for putting the nose straight back what should I do?

I wonder if heating it a little with a heat gun or hair dryer would make it easier to straighten out?

Mine was worse than that after a few nose landings, but just get some boiling water onto the bent/crushed foam parts and it should pop back to its original shape. dont forget to rub it with a spoon afterwards to get the bubbles out.

If its still a littled bowed out then put a little tape on to hold it in the right position after gluing the cracks

Hello All, Great thread,
I have just go my Clouds Fly from Singapore along with Spectrum DX6i.
This is my first plane but hopefully not my last therefore I chose a good Tx.

My question is can I put the ESC directly under the battery or will it get too hot.
I have got a 2200mha battery, cut out a little and have a snug fit.
There is still room for the ESC under the battery.

Also any issue with the 2.4ghz Rx being close to the battery and and power wires?
Thanks,
Peter

One other thing...
I see the Y connector for the Ailerons servos included in the kit - given that I have a 6ch TX would I be better getting two servo wires and use the program capabilities of the DX6i to set the ailerons?
I was thinking about setting up spoilerons as everyone is saying how well this thing glides - it might better for control when landing?
I welcome all comments please.
Thanks,
Peter

Should I just remove the electronics and just ''dip'' the nose in boiling water or use a spoon and drop water to the bent areas ?

Thanks for the help!

This EPO foam is simply amazing!! Dipped the hole front fuselage in boiling water and everything went back to its original shape!! Final touch with some foam safe CA glue and packing tape and I'm back to the field after lunch time!!

Thanks for the tip !

I wouldnt recomend putting the esc under the batt cause they both will get hot. I put the esc behind the servos in the fuselage it will help balance it with the 2200 batt also put the receiver there also. I too use a dx6i and i use the y connectors but to each his own i like the extra channel available to add stuff.

That site has LESS information than the HC site. And, they are the manufacturer. You would think they would give more info.
