got the scale out and the dry weight of the plane (no battery) is 16.6 oz. with battery it is 23.6 oz for the metric guys thats 480 no batt and 670 with. i found that it flys best with the C og G at the round spar or looking at the under side of the wing dead center of the 1 inch strip that the spar runs in.

i just poked a small hole under the spar. if you put 1 wing in the fuse you can see where there is room for the wire to sit.

bardzo dobrze

it flies like an Easy Star with much more power and more precise controls from the ailerons.
How about slow speed? how slow can you go?

I own and flown ... you can KILL throttle and glide. The plane has a VERY resiliant finish almost like someone fiberglassed it. Anyone know what it is???? I wanna do my converted Windrider A380 with it!

Ignoring the price difference, is it better than the EasyStar?

More info on this plane

Iím new here, and thinking about ordering one of these planes.

Iíve never ordered from Hobby King, and wonder how they are to deal with (other than the high shipping costs).

Hereís some more info on the plane:

It seems to be brand new on the market, and distributed by:
http://www.rc-model.cn/
http://www.rc-model.cn/Plane.htm
http://www.rc-model.cn/PDF/The%20clouds%20fly.pdf

It seems to be called ďThe Clouds FlyĒ glider.

Itís on pre-order in Malaysia:
http://www.rcsmart.com.my/webshaper/...oductItem=1847

There is a forum discussion on this French website:
http://forum.modelisme.com/viewtopic.php?id=166834&p=1

A nice photo album with detailed pictures (linked from the French forum) is here:
http://www.chris-helicos.fr/galerie_dynamique/

Looks like a good plane to (re)learn to fly on; I havenít flown in several years.

This is a great price for a glider with ailerons, but I am questioning its weight and shipping charges. Hobbycity website shows weight as 3499 grams, that is about 7.7 pounds and$42 shipping?. I thought this was foam, similar to the Easy *, in fact website http://www.rc-model.cn/ shows flight weight 550-570 grams, which should be via EMS Express to USA (MAX 1kg) $25.95? Anyone ordered from HobbyCity and if so, what was your shipping charge?
