People suck. At least they did not get robbed at gunpoint like my favorite (now closed) hobby shop.

I'll ask and post them here if they're available.

I got hit several years ago. Ripped the back door off. When I came in the next morning nothing was in the store. Found a trail of things leading to the back door. Lost over $19,000 in stuff. Police told me everything was probability already on E-Bay. When the insurance paid it was was biggest deposit I've ever made but no profit. Also had a $1000 deductible. Ya, I'd go after them. Dennis

They will probably ebay the stuff if they are going to dump it on line so be sure to watch out there as well. You can set up a saved search for the items and have the search results emailed to you each day on ebay.

Stolen Motors

Wish We could track em better, serial nos obiously would help, but...good luck finding them. I have seen one tt61 not in box but came up recently on the groups. Hate to hear about your loss. Lots of criminal activity on the increase.

Perhaps a fly inn and fundraiser is in order here?

Will gladly offer another pair of eyes to keep watch over Feebay, your local Craig's List and Sell.com. Clearly too many items for one person to use. I agree, cash generation was more than likely the motive.

Will promptly report anything suspicious and be sure to help keep this thread up top so others can be informed.

Regards,
Xwing

Another concerned RCer on the lookout for you...hopefully the guilty party/parties will get only one thing for Christmas - a new pair of shiny bracelets.

Sorry to hear of the misfortune. May be wrong but the only item there with a serial number may be the TX. Other items, I doubt it.

I don't believe I would challenge anyone selling anything unless I had an SN to back me up. The best one can do is see if there is one or more seller in Indianna that has new items for sell. Chances are good it was at least two people, so expect to look for at least two listings on Ebay.

That's what I was thinking too, that the TX might be the only thing that can be tracked. And with the timing keep in mind that it may be college students just getting ready to go back home for break, so don't expect it to stay local. Crime always goes up in college towns just before the students go home for break.

Indy is not really a "college town" but we all will be on the lookout. Is this the new shop that just opened a few weeks ago with the indoor track?
