RC TX & RX (not video)range test results for FPV.
I this week i tested TX&RX.I have only know distance for FPV. Test results in the ground(not flight)
Conditions are as follows:
1.There must be a direct vision (not to be barriers).
2.Measured the distance to the ground.
3. Is measured accurately (driving under the speedometer)
4. Measure the first to link the loss or disruption
5.Measure the full connection to the disappearance (if possible)
6.Transmiter antenna and receiver antenna should not be closed no side effects.
7.Data write as follows:
a) transmitter model
b) The receiver model
c) The first disruption or disappearance of communication distance
d) Complete disappearance of communication distance
I think this is not end...

I'd suggest you change the subject to include "R/C" e.g. "R/C TX & RX.... "
Otherwise people will come here looking for wireless video Tx/Rx range.
Was the testing done on flat ground, or with one end on top of a high point
somewhere? How high above the ground was Tx and Rx?
What's the difference between the two colored bars next to each combo?

Are the Spektrum radios you used the lower power European versions?
I wonder why the DX7/AR9000 combo didn't work as well as the 9303/AR9000 combo. I thought they had the same transmit power.

Of course all these results can and will change, when you put a
high powered video Tx onboard the plane. Some R/C Rxs will
be overloaded by harmonics and just general high noise
floor produced by some video Txs. The effective range of my 2.4Ghz XPS Rx
with onboard 900Mhz Tx was zero, while FASST Rx is good
to at least a mile with stock antennas. Same relative placement
of video Tx and R/C Rx.
I've found similar results with various 72Mhz FM Rxs. Some are
very solid to over a mile near the video Tx. Some experience
front end overload and lockout at only a couple hundred yards
with the video tx, but work fine without it.

Great stuff. I am using JR9303 2.4 + AR900 and almost lost my ship, at 1 KM (1000m) i had some glitches. I can tell by experience, the chart is very accurate when talking about the JR9303 2.4.

I would Love to see a Spektrum DX7 with (AR9100 4 Reciever set) test. what predicted range benifit would there be with a 8dbi patch antenna mod?
