Kawasaki ki-61 Hien
I am still experimenting with my new camera. ...
Hien data:I built this model in 1999.(scratch)The plan is for a 1/12 dogfighter.(combat with streamer) I have used up two models doing combat one 1/12 Bf109e (midaircoll.) a Mig3(ground suddenly hit it)
So to save this one I converted it.
Designers name Anders Karlson(Swede)
It is planned for a 15 IC motor.
Rather thin wing profil.
Wingspan 38"(97cm) wing area 260sq.in .Wing loading 17,4 oz/sq.
AUW 31,6 oz.(895gram) with 8cells 1400ae.
Motor Multiplex Permax 450 Turbo.ESC kontronik sun 4000
Prop apc 7x5.
Acc. to Moto-calc. this is good set up for a basic trainer.
I real life it performs well loops,split-s etc.
All balsa and a few ply parts.
Cover is rather heavy Solartex.
Finish Humbrol colors hand painted on.

I continue the building of this modell. After I attached the wing and glue the 3mm blasa sheet onto the bottom, I have found a mistake. The tail of the plane is awry. I think I made this mistake when I built the fuselage... But I recognize this now... So It will flyable or trash? On the last photo you can see the center line and the error.
So can I continue the building and fix this error with the rudder or this bird is a dead bird?
From the nose to the trailing edge everything is correct. No mistake.

Beautiful plane Helge, great paint job. Glad to hear that a beautiful plane like that flies well also.
Bazsix, your plane will fly. Just gotta finish it, learn from your mistakes but carry on. Don't quit and you'll have a beautiful plane when you're done.

All flying surfaces must still be aligned correctly, even if the fuselage is "off".
The fin will need to be straight ahead.
