Daves Aircraft Works TG-3 Restoration
Well i just got this old slope plane and it needs a bit of work. So I decided to do a build log on it. I will post some pictures of it when I am able too.

I do not know what the name of this sloper is or who makes it. If any one knows plaese post a reply. The first thing that I am planning on doing is taking the covering off. On one side of the wing it is bent and may be broken. I wount know until I take the covering off.

Wow that looks like a nice covering job...clean lines and not much drag...wished I could get my tape as good as that

Well I didn't do the covering. I got it from a friend who flies with me locally. He had given it to someone else and they are getting out of the hobby. It looks like a great plane after a bit of work. I hear from few people that I'm going to get many hours of fun flying.

Strip it ...if the nose is beat up, cut it off, build on a longer one (helps to keep the weight down (moment arm an all that) with EPP or something similar.

A TG-3 for sure. Strip it, glue all the, er, chunks back together with E-6000 or Goop. Sand it smooth, 3M-77, tape, 3M-77, covering.
