If I started in order of purchase I think I'd probably break RC groups.
Lets just say I've built more than I've bought, and I've bought a few ![]() here's the latest purchase Last edited by Curare; Dec 03, 2008 at 01:04 AM. |

. Looks like you've had some rotten luck so far. From the pictures alone it looks to be a nice plane, the colour scheme in particular.

Thanks for the plans Liam,I built one of their superXtras a while back and it was a great plane until it got a bit heavy from all the repairs.
Regarding the "fleet" I can't be bothered listing them all as they are all park flyer size mainly and fairly common to most. However there is always room for another one I reckon.. The way the dollar is though, probably be a home made depron or cobbled together "special"Cheers also for the welcome from the RCG regulars. Bleary. |

Bleary,
What about the jet Liam built? Curare, That is a really cool looking plane! Greta write up too. Good luck with the rest of the build, I think we could all learn from your 'attention to detail' I'm in the same boat as you Mong, too windy here to fly, again. clovus |

Think I need another depron 3D er Clovus, the Nasty is a bit beat up and heavy so need a "fresh" one I think.I have a few plans stashed away and am currently liking the look of the Katana wing and general shape...whether or not it fly's good who knows.I have a 45 inch plan printed out that I may use as a general idea and "borrow" the funky shape of the Katana in the same dimensions.
Cheers, Bleary. |

My biggest prob at the moment is lack of RXs. My plans to replace the fleet's receivers are pretty much on hold with the dollar having tanked so badly...
Still not buying planes wont do me any harm..., more than enough unfinished projects hanging around. BTW - what are people's strategies for straigtening elapor - just pouring on hot water hasn't done much? |

Yeah I watched that Liam, pretty cool. What is the span and the weight of the one in the video and what sort of power setup are you using? Looks around 900mm span maybe?
Cheers, Bleary. |
