It is a kit, but plans are included on the CD, i have attached the tiled and full sheet version for you, as well as the manual.

I flew mine in enough wind that i could launch it with about 1/4 throttle and it would float, handles wind fantastically. Especially what i was flying in.

G'day gents,

Thanks for the PMs requesting a sticky... however in keeping with a sticky policy that was arrived at a while ago (i.e. less is best) I've decided that this thread ought not be stuck.

[takes cover]

Why? Besides the policy (less is best) there is already a general shoot the breeze thread (aka the blabber thread) to which all are welcome to use... so I encourage you all to pick up the esky and bring the beers over to the "blabber thread" (Jimmy Boags or better is the general consensus by the way!).

I hope no-one takes it personally - all are welcome, particularly when you come in a spirit of friendliness and help someone out when you can... which has made this forum one of the best IMHO.

Again, good to have you all.

I don't think there's much need for this to be sticky anyhow. The past performance on RCU pretty much showed that even without a sticky this thread persists very well at the top

Checking in lads! Same name as previous forum and happy to be here.

I don't really know what happened with RCU and I don't expect we ever will, maybe the systems couldn't handle so many posts and long threads and it was necessary to trim the fat a bit? Who knows.

The BBQ isn't dead, we've just moved from a coal fired Webber to a 6 burner Turbo Chef. Long live the BBQ!

Cheers

Haha it's ironic (borderline hilarious) that we've moved to a thread where Mark's advertising is bannered across the top of the page.

Hopefully the man himself will make an appearance

now now fella's you have to play nice. At least mark cares about what he sells and stands behind his products- some hobby shops could learn from him. On the bright side it is easier to check what's new. Mark, I don't see the camel or tiger moth?
Clovus

I love having to give a reason for my edit: the change is all good so far!

Hey boys. Clovus, good idea. RCU can go wither away I guess. Its popularity is going down the drain anyway. Cheers boys. Back from another fly with the Extra here with Dave. Went very well.
