I dont think you really need it to be a sticky thread the way you guys are posting in it,it wont slip of the front page anyway and I wanna see the boat so stick the photo up there also the blabber thread on here which is just about anything you want really

Thanks Steve,

We debated about just going to the Blabber thread but worried we'd get lost in the ramblings... or should I say our ramblings would get lost in the other ramblings.

I found having four or five different conversations going on at once in the thread too taxing cerebrally. I think things will settle down once the intro's are over again.

I'm wearing a black arm band this week. The red motor melted number 2 and 3 pistons in the eliminations and let us down badlySaturady at Shep was about 85% humidity and obviously the blower was making too much water for the donk to handle. (won't go into the ins and outs but we were suspicious from the dyno run)
Only have an old 07 pic of the ute at the moment and is here at 48secs
Summernats 19 Burnout Competition (3 min 59 sec)

The Red motor is actually a black motor and a fresh one is being machined as I type

Telstra is sorting my adsl.....and I'm on nextG with no where to rack up some pics to view at the moment. (lucky to be on line at all considering who my temporary server is hehehheheee)
I'll post some vid after i get my server sorted.

Might have been a windy day but the ute was flying before it died

In the words of my 3yo
I'M HERE
Just had a look at the old BBQ thread, the fire has gone out. The posts are still there Mong.
I'm Bert ........ I convert perfectly good planes back to kit form
I had a group of friends on RCU, we had common interests like bikes and boats but we weren't allowed to mention them.
The thread is dead. Long live the thread.

Bert

Hi Guys,

Ed Anderson (aejar) from RCU has asked for our new home and I've provided the link.

Given that I think he is about to do something nice for us perhaps we could moderate our expression of displeasure on RCU.

Cheers,
Oz.

I've got one of these cheap WiFi Cams that I've updated to a better outfit and was just looking at the old one here on the bench and thinking maybe it needs chopping up and putting in a minimag ......coupled with my lappy by wireless and it should be a good crash
Only weighs in at 110 gms with its case still on .......and is 5vDC.
Stick its sensor/lens on a pair of servos and and I'm suddenly looking for more channels ......maybe the EZs the platform for this one.

That is accually 200m south of the flying feild. You should see the real field.

Forgot the keys to the gate so we jumped the fence and flew in the paddock near by.

As you can see, im not that great at flying 3d
