Plane #9 HET_F-20
This jet just got maidened this weekend! It flew real nice....needs lots of exponential on the ailerons :0 to keep it flying smooth. The CG on these HET F-20's is really hard to get right. I have my batteries pushed all the way back in the battery compartment and it is still nose heavy. I have now moved the EDF unit back 1/2 in., so that should help get a little more weight towards the back. We will see how it flies with these changes next time.
It uses my standard 1100 watt minifan combination and has an AUW of 48.5 ounces.
Not as fast as my Yak-23, but it looks beautiful in the air. With the F-20's lines, it just looks wicked.......
