Plane #7 RBC Kits Yak-23
I originally got this as my first EDF. I figured the straight wing would be good to learn on. Well, as it was my first all balsa kit build, it took a LONG time for me to complete and the craftsmanship could be a bit better. But, it finally came together several months ago and....
The results were stellar, this jet is fast, smooth as silk in the air and is very uncommon. There is a very good chance that you won't ever see another one of these at your flying field
The current hardware I use in this jet is a Minifan, 7S 2100mah pack, ARC 28-47-2 motor, Suppo 70 amp ESC. 1100 watts and about 57 oz. of thrust at 80% FSA.
AUW is 50.5 ounces.....
This is currently my most flown plane in the fleet....

Matt,I saw your comments on the build thread of this jet.I will be building the Yak-15 in the future.I'm wondering how much they differ other than the 15 is bigger in size plus it uses a midi fan.I most likely start a thread on my blog.Nice build job.
