Plane #3 Stryker EDF
I thought EDF's looked and sounded really cool, so I modified a cheap Stryker airframe to fit a Wemotec Minifan. These Strykers really fly nice, no matter what you put into them.
I had so many different combinations of motors and ESC's on this thing that I won't bore you with the details......but, the final powerplant this "jet" had that you see in the pics is a 720 watt combination consisting of a 6S, 2100mah pack, ARC 28-47-2 motor and Suppo 70amp ESC; servos were HS-81MG.
It flew great to the end, but I just got bored with it and moved on to other airframes.....

I was just thinking of doing this also. I like the way you mounted the EDF unit and just might copy it. How does it fly and better or worst then the stock unit? Do you have any videos?
