I am an avid WW2 buff, so this RTF plane from Parkzone was a natural for my second plane. I felt like it would be the perfect first aileron plane for me.

Once I got it up in the air, I could not believe how great it flew. At this point I knew I was hooked on the hobby. I invested in a Spektrum DX-6 radio and converted the whole plane over to good electronics. I ended up putting in a Hacker A30-16M brushless motor, 2100mah lipo, and propped it up to 350 watts. At 28.5 ounces, this thing was a real rocket! After flying it for well over a year, the foam fuselage finally started to get a bit rough and I retired the 'Butcher Bird" from the fleet.....with many fond memories!
