We have a very healthy community that thrives in the Slope area of RCGroups, and every now and then we all pick up a joke and all charge in the same direction with it.

One such case is This thread. Most of the conversation is "in jokes" with the slope crowd, and it helps to cement the feeling of family that we have. Our banter would be lost on most, and if it were in any other area of the forum (off topic or LTUP) we simply wouldn't go there. (Sure, I love to play pool and there's a pool club just down the road.... but it's nicer to do it at home with my mates if I can without the rest of the world interrupting)

In our area we've got a wealth of information and helpful people, and - although there are the odd exception - we all get along great. We are a community within a community. Rallying together when one of us is in need, posting things worldwide out of pure kindness and in a few cases, the slope forum is where some of our members turn for comfort advice and help when life gets tough.

Is it so bad that we have a thread that's wildly off topic from time to time? We're not hurting anyone, and it unites us even more and makes RCG something that we talk about fondly.

Please.... can we have our ball back? We promise not to kick it over the wall again...
The mods get a lot of flak, but theyr'e just trying to help out.... this time it took a polite request and some behind-scenes input from other respected members (hahah saying "other" as though I'm one of them too)... So treat it well.. keep the in-jokes flowing and enjoy

To Paraphrase.....

RIP THE BRING!

I think it deserves to be here too... and I might have re-posted it here in the correct thread (and in context) if someone else wasn't so lightning quick to post other's content...

Meanwhile... ELISA plates need washing, substrate, stop sol'n, and an absorbance reading at 450nm.

*Putting thick glasses on*
For that we need to know the circumference of the pointy-roundyness and the original size of the wood...
I think a few days of sanding it round (don't forget the female friend) would suffice to create a nice pointyness...
What were we making anyways?

It's back? Oh no.

I don't think MterBeest would approve of this.

And is the "yolk" all the goop and epoxy you slap on the eggshell after a "one-point" landing?

Aren't briquets made of carbon? And they are made from logs, so it should be ok.
