Oh for sure, i cant do anything with out them, makes a world of a difference. Kids laugh at me when i wear them though.
Im still waiting for some parts for the 200, should be in this week.
I made a few adjustments on the tail section, i think it will help out alot. Will post a vid once im up and flying

Man with the original ff100 build I had trouble finding quality servos that small. I now got the silver cf frame and I bought some cirrus 4g micro servos ----$22a piece---------they are to small -- how ironic hu

Any idea of what to use to make the servo mountinga bit easier ? I thought about 2 small pieces of plexi glass -- like two new plates on either side. !st cup of coffee lol I'll post a few pics soon but was looking for some suggestions. I huess Im not suppose to have a ff1-- rof I finally get the tail figured out and now the servos are too small

I used TowerPro SG 50 / Hextronix HXT500 - you need to do a little "adjusting" of the frame to make either fit, but they are a much better servo than the 3.7 / 4.3 gram ones IMHO.

Yes, i was about to suggest the towerpro 5g's. Think im going to use those in the ep200 also. Make sure they arent knock-offs.
lightflightrc.com has 4 of them for i think 26 dollars

Thanks fellas -- after trying to fit the cirrus -- I tired hs-55 they fit side to side but not in height so I will have to look around lhs and see what else I can find lol

the specs seem real nice and handleing the servos feel way tighter than the others that small and come highly recommended from LHS -- lol if they dont work I dont have a problem dealing with them :0)

The HXT 500s are $3.49 a piece at Hobby King. I get 10 at a time for the foamys as well as the firefox and hurricane 200. Tough all around servo.

why kind of frame cutting should I have to do with these servos-- towerpro 5g'ers to fit?

I am not really into cutting the nice frame and there isnt much room to go either way top or bottom. Hope not much and they fit well I ordered the 4pack for $27 :0) thanks Mulikow.

Dizzy, i have no clue what your size of the holes are in your frame...i would have assummed you would check the specs on lightflights site before you ordered them.

Evening Gents,

I finally have a running ff100 lol. I onlyhave an 8x8 area with 7foot ceilings so I trimmed as far as I can go inside -- no flying till the 23rd :0(.

Those towerpro50- 5g'ers dont fit the fiberglass frames incase anyone was wondering -- dont think you can file enough of the fame away to make them fit without compromising the integrity oif the fame. Back to the drawing board there.

Glad you got it flying. (refrained from build duration puns! )

I see your using the stock ele motor (15t?) on 2s.
I could not get any decent power from the ele stuff on 2s.

One question: Does it piro left? ie did you sort the tail?
