Got some wind yesterday and I took the Black Angel out for a spin. The heli was doing great funnels, hurricanes, and low inverted. The G401B with Fusonic digital servo did better than my GY401 with a digitized Hitec HS56HB. You can hear struggling with the latter. With the G401B and Fusonic, I only get an occasional very very small wag as an oops situation. Otherwise no struggling at all. I think I can dial that out with some more tx and gyro adjustments. But to be honest, I don't think I will. Heli handles fine.

I got a scare when I got some wags on the last minute of a succeeding flight. But when I replaced with a better lipo, things were back to normal. Head speed is very important to my setup as it seems. Or perhaps the digital servo was underpowered no thanks to the weak lipo. So if you have weak lipos, time your flights shorter for optimum power.

Moved the ball one hole in to the innermost hole. The wag has decreased but it is still not really flyable. I think I may need a better servo on the tail. The GWS is plenty fast but I guess it just isn't accurate enough to be a tail servo. The problem may also be the tape I'm using. Just using plain double-sided foam tape from the hardware store. Perhaps some quality gyro tape will help.

Ordinary foam tape works for me.

• Check your main rotor balance? Remove gears and seesaw on its side.
• Check your tail pulley for too much play in the tail housing
• Check belt tension
• Check both pulleys if they are slipping on shafts
• Try a different tail servo
• Select correct gyro setting for analog or digital

I am running GWS Naros HP BB servos all around on my Belt CP. This is the heli I have the 401 B installed on. I just adjusted the gain and the delay and my last flight today was pretty darn good. No wag and holds well. Jim

I just ordered one of these to try with a hxt900 for now and if it holds well I am going to change all my gyros to these, except my 250 with the gp750. I also want to switch all my tail servos to ds290g's.

I think you are confusing it with the pg800, the gp750 is an align gyro that seems a lot like a 2100t.

Gyro

Ok Gino

Based on your experience and your vid I just ordered one of these. The only gyro I have used is the 2100t (Mini Titian and Trex se).

I ordered a Dragonus from HobbyLobby on the black Friday sale and this is the bird I'll put the Gyro in I am looking forward to trying something different and intend to go cheap on electrics for the DRAG at first so this fits the bill perfect.

Thank you for the review great timing for me

However if I'm unhappy I know where ya live and we will talk

Oh wait I'm only 15 miles from XMseler I'll have my talk with THEM

Thanks again Gino

I'm getting one of this for the dragonus that I ordered. .

Gino - why are setting your headspeed at 4000rpm?, is this just to test the gyro?
