Hi all, here could not be the right thred but I see the all very expirenced I have question:

I want to purchase OS-FP20 from kysh.. but no data available abot this motor is ABC/Alu or ring/iron. Can anybody know about FP20?

I could not find the FP series in OS engines web pages, ıs the FP series very early version or discontinued?

FP is now discontinued for many years. I have the manual. Actually, it looks like I have several manuals to upload to my site. The FP are ringless ABC type, but probably have a nickel plated liner.

anyone have the instruction sheet for the OS 40FSR?

found a dealer who has NIB parts for the FSR's, but i need the numbers to make sure they are right.

G'day go to the os website you should be able to download the fs40 manual there, if not pm me and I will see if I can help you out , do you just want part # or pictures of the parts?

thx but the engine is not a four stroke.
it was the 40FSR series which are 2 strokes.
the manuals for these are not on OS's website.

Email Hobby Services through the address at the bottom of the manuals page. I needed one for a FT240, had it in less than ten minutes. If they can't help you out, I should have the 40FSR manual at home.

thx.....yeah i already tried them. they respond very quickly, but apparently they have no info on engines that date back that far.

i have 2 of the 40FSR's that are NIB on the way from ebay sellers that should have the sheets.
problem is that they won't be here till next week, and as luck has it, there is a seller from up north that has some parts available. really hate to buy parts that may not be right.

PM me your address and I'll send you a copy of the 40FSR instruction sheet.

Here's a list of parts for the OS 40 & 45 FSR engines I compiled from a 1984 World Engines parts catalog. I've put bold "Y"s in columns where that engine used only that specific part and a normal (not bold) "Y" where 2 different parts were used in the same engine designation. For example, where the 40FSR-S (stunt) and 40FSR both used only the 4.5mm wristpin #24806000 (bold "Y"), and the 40FSR ABC used only the 5mm wristpin #24806301 (bold "Y"), the 45FSR and 45FSR-H was made with both sizes (normal "Y" for both wristpins). These 2 sizes of wristpins complicates ordering replacement pistons, wristpins or conrods.

And, of course, there may well have been changes not reflected in the 1984 World Engines list.

Well guys, talking about the 40 FSR, here is a scan from the manuals from my engine. Also youŽll find the manual from the 4B carb (and 5 & 7B too..). Hope that these must be useful to the group

Does anyone have a manual fo the os 60 f-sr this one has a pump on it thanks made in 1978 I think

Hi, IŽm adding the manual from the OS 15. This series is from around 1972-74. Hard to find manual
