Side sheeting applied, wet forming the bottom sheets. I used new wood for this boat. The supplied wood was too hard to do anything with.

Latest photos of the boat. I'm still rough sanding to get the shape I want. Motors arrived as did the props. I opted for new shafts so I ordered ground 3/16" ss shafts from Fastenal. I'll thread them when they arrive. The bow has a little putty on it to smooth things out. I will final sand after all the wood is on the hull and then glass it with 3/4 oz cloth and epoxy. I may use Pacer pt 40 resin with this or I may try West systems glue. BTW the motors are Speed 800 size from Polks. Smooth runners with built in fans. Setup should be 12v sla batteries.

Really looks nice Frank.
I have one that my Dad started about 20 years ago. I still have the rest of the parts and will finish her up someday.
Here is a photo of the old girl complete with dust!
Keep up the good work. BD.

Ok Subdave it's time to get that 63' on the ways and finished up. I mean twenty years is more than enough time for the glue to dry. Let's get with it. Pete

Here are the latest photos. I've glassed the hull with 1.5 oz cloth as well as the cabin structure. Getting ready to sand and sand and sand!!! Seems to be going better than I remember on my last Sterling build.

After talking with the owner last night, a complete interior is to be added to the build as well as digital sound. I should have kept my mouth shut!!! All that it will consist of is a couch and table with a couple of cabinets. Should be able to use doll house items.

Frank, The 63' scales out to be about 1/19 and doll house pieces are 1/12 so they will be a little on the large side. When I did the interior on mine I kept it very simple, a couch coffee table drop leaf table and desk. Some interior lighting. Nothing fancy and whatever size seemed to fit in the space. Don't worry about the scale as long as it looks like it belongs there.
