Nitroplanes Falcon 120 flying wing conversion
I have 25 great flights on this plane and it flies like a giant Stryker, very fun and easy to fly. Slows down nicely for landings.
I`ve flown it with a TJ-100 fan at power between 3kw and 4kw. I`ve also fitted it with a prop at 2.4kw (more thrust, less speed)
At 4kw it will do about 120 to 130mph with the TJ-100. It`s doing about 100mph with the 10/7 prop at about 18k rpm.
I`m selling it receiver and power system ready for $350. (Add your own rx and power system)
It includes 8 standard type servos, Robart air up/spring down retracts 5/32" nose wire strut, 3/16" main wire struts. It runs on 12 5,000 mah cells (12s for edf, 6s2p with a Neu 1515-2y motor and a 10/7 gas prop.
Very impressive flier either way. Great jet trainer. This plane has taught me to land the big jets, and has never had an accident.
Here`s a link to a video of the plane and to the build thread. Lots of pics in the thread.
I love the plane, but I`m gathering funds and making room for a 1/8th Tam Jets F-16.
Thanks for looking, Lee Liddle
