That was probably me flying the Piggy. My buddy Dave from my old club in Platteville designed and built that sucker. She's interesting to fly - but sure gets the looks!
The RC Superhero was also brought by one of our crew. It only flew a couple of times since it was far heavier than the weight limit for the dome. But, they were allowed a couple of flights. Here's the video that they posted:

I am ready for 2011 - 2012 indoor season
Just got done today with 2 new indoor aircraft for this coming indoor season.. just hope I make it out more than twice this year.
Tore apart both of my home made designs and put together 2 of the Fancy Foam kits I got a deal on when they were changing ownership. One Osiris, and a vantage... Now I just want to use the rest of my indoor gear to build either a MX2 or a Yak 55 - for the more 3D style flights... so if anyone has a spare MX2 kit let me know, I have enough equipment left for one more indoor aircraft... but the only spare motor I have now is the AXI 2204/54 ... not sure if that has enough pull for the MX2, may get a hacker motor. Anyways here are a few photos. |

Hi Guys,
Pass the word. The indoor flying season at Carl Traeger Middle School in Oshkosh kicks off November 13th. RC will mix with free flight, like last season. Helis will have the smaller gym, or that corner of the gym if the curtain is open, just like last season. There will be a $5 per pilot charge each Sunday. 72 MHZ Frequency control will be in effect (clothespins--like last season).
