Now all we need is a solar array and battery bank for the combination flag light supply and 12V DC power station for charging Tx, Rx, and Lithium batteries.

Thats crazy talk.

Actually, something that might be useful is a anemometer. I was thinking of making an anemometer stack from Sparkfun, but then I came to my senses and determined I don't have time for a project like that.

the wind sock is actually a fairly good indicator of wind speed.

did they ground the shelter when they put it up?

should we ground the flagpole or do you think the shelter is ground enough?
the flag is clamped to the upright.

No not this time.I would like to bring it home and wash it off and then i will do the blades and belts.Also one tire is a little low on air.Maybe if i get a chance this weekend.If someone has a trailer that it will fit.

the new lock has been installed at the gate. it is the same type as the one used last year, and the combination is this year's authorised one.
i have sprayed this new lock with silicone lubricant to retard corrosion, and will do so periodically throughout the year.
