That was good, indeed! You really do good work, Robert . I wished you could make a foam one for me...especially in form of a falcon. I guess I have to complete the one I bought from Lee, first.

Again, great flybys *

I am working now on a new Gull. The wings will still be made of EPP but the fuselage will be made of fiberglas.

Wow..it does fly better and glides forever!

What would the difference between a fiberglass fuse as appose to the latter?

Would you -if you like- take a picture of the two of your Seagulls? Excellent *

The fiberglass fuse is strong stiff and more aerodynamic. The CG is on the leading edge against the fuselage.

thanks. and this wing is using that fancy leading edge flap/aileron thing right? would it be possible to leave that out and use standard ailerons with elevators on the tail?

Standard ailerons will not work.

Control surfaces

So have you posted pictures of how your seagull is controlled. If so I have missed it and I have subscribed to this thread for quite a while now, well over a year. I do remember seeing a RC model I think from Japan that had leading edge and trailing edge control surfaces. Is that something you are willing to share?

It's not my gull but so you can get an idea how it works. My gull still uses a vertical fin.

Flight control

Thanks for that short video, I had seen that before so that helps. The vertical fin does not show in your videos, are you using a clear fin? I had seen that before, maybe it was an earlier version of what you are flying now. I have one of the eagles in a kit with a KFM airfoil that has been sitting on the shelf to build so will start with that. I would really like to make a hawk rendition however and live an hour and a half from the coast so your sea gull would also be an option. Thanks.
