i would screw etamiya and just buy from ebay or towerhobbies.com you'll be better off getting a used tt-01 bundle and a new body.

hi all, sorry to miss up some information, as i'm from malaysia so i'm ruling out buying from those US based websites.

what i'm asking is, is there any body that ordered from etamiya.com?
i'm asking for the credibility of that site..

I'd rather get one from RCMART.com

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-tam...cPath=420_1167

It's listed $115.90 USD + S/H...

I'd say etamiya is way overpriced on the kit.

rcmart is kit only.

Sorry, didn't notice that.. I always assumed ppl would want the kit instead

Hmmm...even so, I'd say it's still overpriced, for me at least since the included radio looks a bit basic.

You can get the futaba 2PL Radio for around $75 with 2 servos, add $115 for the kit and it's around $190, throw in a futaba R122JE Rx for $30 and its still a $27 difference at a total of $220 (possibly cheaper since I'm calculating on street retail price, you might find some good deals on ebay).

Believe me the 2PL radio is a very nice investment, even for beginners. With a LCD display, 10 model memory, battery voltage indicator, channel reverse and other stuff I forget, you can't go wrong with the 2PL.

Besides, you're better off with a kit since you'll be building it yourself and when time comes for hopups you'll know what goes where.

That is unless you're planning to go bone stock... then yea go with RTR. Then again, why you'd want to spend $250 for bone stock TT01E?

I don't mean to discourage you, I know how busy some ppl are and just want no hastle with their purchase and want to run the car straight out of the box.
I'm just giving you an alternative.. maybe a cheaper one too.

Question though.. is the RTR body fully painted?

And sorry, no.. I don't have any experience with etamiya since I ask my father to purchace most of my RC stuff in HK and ship them over in a big, accumulated package... waaaay cheaper than buying these stuff online one by one.

I'd like to share my experience with etamiya, for those who are concerned about their credibility.

Well, I placed an order from ETamiya and never received the shipment for 2 months. Later I got a message that says the order is returned and ask for more funds for another attempt. At this point, I got suspicious and checked online. Apparently I am not the first who has gotten money stolen from this site.

I am surprised this company has not been put out of business yet.
