Oh buddy, I am almost there. I flew it the length of the battery. Had to land and reset position due to small space. But flew her in a dead on hover (with lots of left stick action) for a minute straight. Yea I almost got her set up. -Lee

Like lots of folks I put my hobby on a strict budget. Used to fly planes. Started with one and got sucked into that gotta- have -the next one thing. All the fun disappeared.
Last summer got rid of all that plane stuff and bought a Blade CX2 for my 51st birthday. Chose the CX2 chiefly because the hobby store is one block from my job and carries E-Flite spare parts.
Now the fun is back. Have fun!!

Eflight was just out of my budget. I suspect they have better electronics. Alot of the parts are interchangeable. My lhs carries only eflight. I think that on a budget like mine I'll stick to esky from bananahobby. I mean, I can buy two for the price of one. And I don't know anyone else who has the customer support like bananahobby. Go Pete go!!!

I flew some awesome flights last night! Well, by my standards anyway. Set it on the kitchen table, took off, flew around the kitchen a few minutes, landed on table, took off and flew again, then landed on table. No crashes, even with a sink full of dishwater, for danger effect. lol It was great. I loved it. Thanks bananahobby you guys are the best. I love my new hobby. -Lee

Lee,

Your enthusiasm just makes me smile . I too love the heck out of my MCX. Someone said in a different post that sometimes they just let theirs hover and wonder at it all and I do the same. It is a great hobby especially when you have a heli that is just a wonderment.

Ha ha! Thanks guys. I've have been flying some really challanging tests lately.
Flew in an area about 2' by 3'. Take off from office floor, hover, set trim, fly up and around office, watch out for hurricane force winds from drafts ha ha, finally landing back where she started. yeah! Man I am tripping on how much fun these birds are. Why hasn't anyone intruduced this to drug addics? lol They'd be cured instantly, this is a way better way to get high. lol -Lee

Man, my heli is so much fun. I've been sick with a cold lately. Which has me in a rut of deppresion. So I plug in my copter, and wow, who cares about all that when I can do this. Ha ha, I need more batteries. I spend alot of time watching a blinking green light. lol Keep im high and flying. -Lee
