That's very nice. A good grip really helps with the tight screws. On this heli, just test each screw. Any screw that moves with medium effort, remove and reinstall with loctite 242. Those that are tight, leave them be. I found such screws have generous amount of threadlock. Perhaps too generous!

1.5 mm hex keys dont last, in any set I have owned.... I will buy some spare sets or them you seem quite happy with your new bird Gino

I am. I am very pleased with the quality of this kit. If they can just find standardized and true 1.5mm hex bolts then this will be perfect. But these hex bolts are way better than the philips head bolts on the V2. Just use discretion when testing each tightness.

I am also impressed with the adjustable battery plate. It can be set to slope downward or be level. I also like the lower plate design. It uses cf and aluminum so screws can be thread locked unlike plastic.

I am just waiting for the gyro before I proceed.

the way I stacked my v2 in last week is testimony to the strength of the cf frames it hit very hard and destroyed alot of parts but the frame is fine, actually the cf boom split like a firework!! those servos you are using look very nice but quite expensive

I want to find a supplier for hex screws and nuts for the servos instead of phillips head

Maybe you are referring to the one piece frame. The Trex 450 has two layers of cf per side. This makes the bottom plate wider for electronics. The Black Angel has one layer per side. So it has a very narrow front profile.

To be honest, I wouldn't count on Trex compatibility. This is not a Trex clone. For that, you have the CopterX 450 SE V2. 100% compatible.

Although it shares the basic Trex 450 geometry, the parts themselves are different. You can possibly use an entire Trex head and tail assembly. But then it won't handle like a Black Angle anymore.

Or get the Black Angel head(assuming parts availability) & put it on my Wing maybe, & I still got a Wing head when I slam it to the ground.

It is different. It has this connecting ring between the aileron ends. The spinning part is also chunkier. I do not know what that explanation you quoted means. The balls look robust. They also use a large hex driver for installation. This is a welcome relief since it has less chance of stripping.

Oh that would be the partial ring that connects the ball posts. It spans 240 degrees. It reinforces the post to remove flexing.

copterx 500 is not nitro 50 size..
nitro 50 is 600 class (from trex 600)

CopterX 450 -- 325mm blades
CopterX 500 -- 425mm blades
CopterX Black Angel -- um, Gino? Is it 325 or did they use slightly larger blades?
