Discussion - If Obama wins how many of the "love it or leave " crowd will man up and leave

Does moving to Hawaii count as leaving? I took care of my own parents.. we called them the "greatest generation" as we were burying them.. I worked hard my whole life.. Time for the "teeny boppers" to take over.. so far they have been doing great

Music was the beatles now it is hip hop,

Cars were fast sexy and fun now they are antiseptic, safe and responsibly

War was all about killing the bad guys ...now it is about "IS" and what the meaning of "IS" is.

Hawaii is very nice. I just went flying, now I am going to take the boogie board and walk to the beach..

Hooray for the red white and blue.. You guys do a good job now.

Welcome to socialism!

Under the old system, it's quite apparent that business owners figured out the way to earn more is to pay their workers less. And less. And less.

Oddly enough, people who are responsible for their own lives, go do something else if they don't feel they are paid enough.

Others, gather their thugs for them and go to work on extortion.

indeed. And they pulled it off because they managed to convince their
workers that their taxes were going up (so they have less to put in
wages) even though in reality their taxes were going down. Pretty
nifty con job

I'd rather none of this happened, but when it does, there it's going to be in his and the Dems laps, and the contrast with the land of someone else's milk and honey promised is going to be savage.
Oh, HARDLY. How do you figure? The way I see it, the only things that could land on our plate is the things that haven't happened.
Don't think just because Obama is taking over that he'll be taking responsibility for all the crap here. Remember; Bush bombed the economy, Bush bombed fuel and electricity prices, and Bush got us in this going-nowhere war. Didn't happen under Obama's term did it? I think not.
"Cutting and running" would be the best thing that could happen to us. We had zero business in this situation in the first place. Seriously, we've found one REALLY popular target, can't seem to find another, lost thousands of brave soldiers, and have yet to find a SINGLE WMD. Tell me, why are we there? Is it really protection or just the oil? I find it to be the latter.
And remember, if you DO see your post fair, it'll apply all the same to McCain if he gets in. No double standardizing allowed. Seems to be a hard concept for some.

It would be his job. Every president inherits the bad decisions his predecessor made. It's one reason an ex-president doesn't criticize a sitting one...... Well until Carter, anyway.

Well yes, he isn't in office yet so what can happen hasn't happened yet. Some will, some won't, and what does will be squarely his responsibility.

He'll be responsible for what he does with what he takes over, as would McCain. The war is ongoing, saying Bush got us in will not take away Obama's responsibility for what he does with a war we are already in.

Can't evacuate like Obama retreating from Iraq. Must stay to be part of the blowback in four years when the Congress goes Republican, ala 1996 as a result of Clinton's foolishness!

If Republicans are so worried about the possibility of a Democratic president then they should have thought about the consequences of nominating such a poor choice the last time they had a chance to choose a candidate. Maybe you should have nominated McCain instead of Bush last time when you had the chance. Maybe had you done the right thing then you wouldn't have to worry so much about losing the White House now. I can't even believe you guys are even considering Palin for 2012. She has absolutely no attaction to moderates and comes across as equally dumb as Bush. Choose a quality candidate next time that doesn't come across as a bumbling moron and who can do a good job and you won't have to worry about the whole country turning away from your party. Republicans deserve better from their party.

You guys whined the entire 8 years Clinton was in office. The only reason you didn't whine about the election was your margin of loss was so big it didn't matter. If Bush had lost either of the last 2 you guys would be just as bad.
