Time for Fun!!!
Well I thought I'd give my good buddy at the field a run for his money. Unfortunately my competitor has piledrived his FJ into the ground doing some amazing vertical work lately.
I hear he is back at work building the next fast FJ, I'll be waiting!!! Setup: Funjet - reworked and Fiberglassed Suppo 100A ESC 6V UBEC ARC 28-47-1.5 motor 6x4 APC Sport prop Pure fun! B p.s. I need to figure out a better Lion graphic which shows up better, I need more yellow!!! |

Good luck !
Are you going with 4S or 5S ? I found top-end was lacking with the 6X4. When my MR028-056-2800V2 arrives Im going with a 5.25X6.25 |

Why not reverse it to white on black then it will hide the background and show up better.

Looks very good. May be a bit more stripes wouldn't hurt. When is the maiden? Baylands is wet from the rain so I didn't fly today.
I'll be ready to maiden my new fast-er funjet in couple of weeks. Currently working on the custom motor mount with unlimited airflow in mind. Oh and btw, the new funjet will have a 36-55-1.5 T. Can't wait to see who is going to give a run for their money

Wowie the maiden happened today. I was pretty apprehensive about launching this one because I literally spent 3 weeks on the build. I would have hated to stuff it right on launch.
Well I pushed it up to 1/2 throttle gave it a good heave almost straight up and it took off like a charm. Man this sucker was getting away from me at 1/2 throttle!!!  I slowed her down and trimmed her out a tiny and then I said "what the heck" and started doing WOT passes. At this time someone came up behind me and said "so that's doing 150mph eh?" I just laughed. I plan to put the Eagletree in there and graph a bunch of data including the airspeed. I'll post up the graphs as soon as I get the data. FUN FUN FUN!!! Grinnin ear to ear.

I went with a 20C 3300mah 4S lipo. I probably need to get a 3800 as my lipo doesn't seem to like this abuse very much.
