Stairway to...the attic
We completed the magic pull-down attic stairs installation this weekend.
I remember my Grandpa Parker had stairs that pulled down like this. Very cool. |

We made a major leap in storage capabilities over this weekend!
Rather than just cram junk under the workbench, why not make it easy to get at, and easy to put away as well? Sally and I went to IKEA to get some drawer units... |

Shelves off the wall...
I tore out some built-in shelves the P.O. had installed. They never really worked for us, and made parking motorcycles a little bit difficult.
Next step is to tear off the chipboard walls and insulate the wall. After that my son and I will sheetrock it. Probably cover over the side door; I don't use it anyway. Once that is all finished, I'll install cabinets across the entire wall, high enough to fit over the front ends of the motorcycles. |

For years I thought your comments about living in a "hut in the woods" was a joke. I didn't know you were serious! I like the remodel and rides. gv
