Hi,

I have a problem to bind my receiver AR6100 with my radio dx6i.

Here is what I did:

- I plug in the male bind plug into the BAT/BIND port of the receiver.
- I connect a servo to other channel.
- I plug the battery (charged) to an other channel. The receiver start to blink.
- I holding the trainer/bind switch and i turn on the transmitter. (radio go in bind mode)
- The receiver blink during 15s. Then it turn off, then blink slowest (during 5s), then turn off.
The receiver never come on solid and never bind.

Do you know this problem?

Make sure the battery is plugged in correctly (plug is not reversed) into the receiver.

Check again the battery to make sure it has enough charge - measure its voltage under load - should not be less than 4.8V. Remember that the receiver (being DSM2) has to transmit during the bind process so the transmitter recognizes it as a DSM2 receiver. It uses more power during the bind process and a flat battery (or an old battery used for testing only) may not provide it.

Also after you bind the receiver and power it down to remove the bind plug, make sure to also power the TX off. Now apply power to the receiver first, you should not get a light. Turn the power on the TX on and it should lock with a solid light.

If you then unplug the receiver power and plug it back in it should blink showing you that you had a power outage. This might be what you are seeing.

I have test the battery with a voltmetre: 5V.

Everything looks OK - the receiver stopped blinking, then it started blinking at a slower rate, then stopped blinking again. If you waited a bit longer (the video ended) the light should come solid on. Then you can release the bind switch.
