What new plane should GWS roll out?

GWS has had much success in rolling out scale/semi-scale planes like the TM and the Mustang. It is more than likely that they have a winner on their hands with the A10.

Noting that the company appears to be listening to its customers when it comes to product development, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread on suggestions for their next scale plane.

I for one would be VERY interested in a twin EDF F18.

What do you think Mr Lin?

Hmm, I think IŽd like to see....
Biplanes: Gloster Gladiator, Fairey Swordfish, Pitts S2, Sopwith Camel, Fokker DVII.
High wing: Noorduyn Norseman, Mr. Mulligan racer, Westland Lysander.
Low wing single engine fighter: Hawker Hurricane, Hawker Typhoon, Focke Wulff 190, Grumman F4F, Yak 3 (or 9), Curtiss P40.
Multi engine fighters and bombers: P38 Lightning, De Havilland Mosquito, NA B25 Mitchell, Messerschmidt 110, Boeing B17, Avro Lancaster.

None of them in true "slowflyer" version (except perhaps theSopwith and the Fokker) but more in keeping with the Zero and the P51.

Well, what do you say Mr. Lin, this list isnŽt too much to ask for, is it?
And offcourse IŽd want them all on the shelves at my Hobby Store by the end of March

Seriously, I think GWS is doing a great job at providing us with good, lowcost models. Thank you!

keeping with the edf tradition I vote for a Mig 29 or simlilar Russain fighter.

IPS powered Pitts.

Maybe even purpose designed to run on Li-po's, perhaps even 3 cells. ( ips B with 9x7).


There would no longer be any need to try to add ailerons to the moth.

I'm just waiting on the A-10, Spitfire, and Corsair. What would I like to see developed, probably an AVG Curtiss P40, and a P38

How about something with 4 IPS motors, say a C-130.

wow, nice ideas being presented here guys.


I have to agree that a C-130/160 would be awesome

and man a 747 would be INCREDIBLE!!!!! could you imagine 4 engine monster crusing along the sky? WOW!

but I still have to vote for modern Mig fighters, nothing can beat the Cobra maneuver

You guys who want to replace 4 IPS motors... ICK

I'd like to see GWS develop a small brushless replacement for the IPS motor and sell that with their kits -- or at least as an optional upgrade to the GWS kits. That would make every IPS plane they have on the market a "new plane".

GWS' success has to be giving them pull with suppliers. Offering planes with brushless motors (even the cheap ones like the MPJ's or Nippy's) would improve everything.

As for a plane... well...

I want an F-14 with working swing wings. And not some parkie, I want it to top out around 80 mph.
