Doh! I wondered why it was pitching toward the gear.

Thanks Andy. I'm bummed about the wind. I was going to bring the fleet to Fairview today.

Kevin, I'm so bummed too, we would have loved to have seen you out there.

A lot of good people would have liked to have met you.
Hope you can come out some other time and fly with us...

Hey Ben,

Awesome ARF kit. Its my fastest build yet! Very complete and I like the pre-drilled firewall. The covering was perfect! Also, very nice quality. I got the tail feathers, control surfaces mounted, wings and motor and the servos installed in the first night - that's a record for me.! The horz. stab went in level on the first try! Love it! Can't wait to fly it this weekend. You're planes get better and easier to build with every new design.

Also a big thanks to ISP Motors for the build video. Between this ARF and the video, it saved me a lot of time.

Same thing with me, I want them all but have the gear for the 47" ready to go...

Next will be the 55", I have everything but the servos for it.

Ready to Go!

I finished my Edge over the last four evenings. This was a fast build for me. Ben's ARFs are getting easier and easier to assemble. The build video was also a great help. I love ADC's decals. I normally don't pimp my planes out this much, but I like it...in sort of a trailer-trash kind of way! The fit and finish of the plane was great! The covering was beautiful and wrinkle free out of the box. Did need a little touch up after it acclimated to my local humidity. The plane AUW is 42.7 oz (with Torque 2818-900 & Zippy 2200mah 25-35C battery). I'll maiden the plane tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

Dude, that looks awesome! Crimson Bovine on the top and giving Ben and gang props on the bottom. I have a spare 2818 and the 47" is the only Extra I don't have yet

Thanks! Always have to give Ben and the gang props. I'm working on getting more of 3DHS planes. My PA Addiction recently was crashed for the last time, so I'm down to my 55" SHP Extra and my brand new Edge. I'm eyeing the 40" green one or may wait for the next of Ben's & Scott's creation.

I'll be flying with Zippy 3S 2200mah 25C batteries, which I'm told will weigh about 6.25 oz (won't have them until the morning). This should bring my total weight to 43 oz. I'll maiden the plane tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!
Jim,

Looks great! Can't wait to see it tomorrow! Decals look really cool. Great job Rob!

I have your batteries so.......I might need some incentive to get there.
