All that worrying about my 103g working out in the 48" and I pulled the cowl and found I have the 130g LOL. That is what happens when you buy something used... you don't always know what you bought.

I cant find my 47edge manual and I fixed my plane .not sure where the CG was.can someone tell me the measurement ..thanks

I can't remember which manual it is but its lumped together with at least one other plane. Check the other 47" planes on the 3dhobbyshop.com site and I think you will find what you are looking for. From reading some of the earlier posts in this thread I saw that some of the guys were setting their CG to the leading edge of the wing tube.

If you find it in the manual I'd appreciate if you would post it here. I was looking for that as well as I am having a hard time getting mine balanced just right. It always wants to fall forward when hovering. I have a really hard time finding a spot where it balances in a hover. if its not a CG issue I'm starting to wonder if the thrust-line of my motor is screwed up. I bought the plane used and while I love just about everything about it for some reason I can't hover it worth a dang.

Did your homework again...

SETUP INFORMATION

Center of Gravity - Velox VR-1 98 mm from leading edge of wing at wing root (at fuselage)

Edge 540 93 mm from leading edge of wing at wing root (at fuselage)

These are starting, aerobatic center-of-gravity locations. After several flights, you can and should adjust in small increments to find your perfect, personal CG location.

I have had my edge for almost a year now. flew it for a while then went back to my 51 Slick, the edge hung in the garage collecting dust. Well....I crashed my 51 so decided it was time to fly the edeg again, been putting 4 or 5 bats thru it every other day or so, i'm not sure if my skills have improved or maybe the edge needed to hang in the garage for a while before flying but i am really starting to love the way this plane flys.

Just thougt i would mention this because someone in our club allways said "the edge is the best plane ever" And i allways said "no, the 51 Slick is"
I'm not saying he right, but i guess i never gave the edge enough respect.

I know what your saying, this is the most ignored plane in my fleet, in fact the only gear left in it is the rudder servo and esc. And yet I too dig it out once in a while and wonder why I just don't fly the heck out of it. Especially now, I have a larger Edge from another manufacturer that I am so in love with I hardly fly any of my other planes anymore, and yet they all fly great. I'm just so connected with this plane that I don't care about my other planes which is a shame because they are truly good planes. But you know how it is when you find that one that you are just perfect with and it helps you grow so much as a pilot. And it is purely a matter of personal style which plane that winds up being, no reflection on the quality or flyability of other planes. I think this is why we are constantly buying new planes, we are in search of that next one we can connect with and grow as pilots.
