RotorFest 2008

Last weekend the American Helicopter Museum held its annual RotorFest. There was a good amount of helis on display plus some flight demonstrations. There are usually alot of military choppers that show up and demo, but this year there wasn't many due to most of them being deployed for the war. They also had some of the guys from Valley Forge Signal Seekers. I only caught the last bit of their demo. I think I took 400 and some odd pics in total but heres a few I really liked.

Heres one of the Rc Helis

Heres a few of it in action

Heres a few of the Military Choppers. The Chinook was scheduled to fly and do some demonstrations, but it was having some technical issues and was grounded

There was a special demonstration by the special forces Black Daggers jump squad

Cool pics, looks like it was a good time out! How does that heli without the tail rotor counter the torque? Looks like a cat with a bob-tail!

Fantastic pics, but I cannot believe the Chinook was grounded due to technical difficulties. That never happens does it?
