From DW Foamies or Hobby Lobby?

Juka looks more like a Yak, Tensor would be way different. All Good Planes

DW Skua Bipe

BigB,
Our Skua is a ground up design based around the F3P indoor biplanes but with an outdoor airframe. I had a Tensor about 3-4 years ago and only flew it indoors in a small space. The main design feature that I remember about the Tensor is the amount of distance between the wings, our Skua is much the same. It's a real floaty foamie that flies on rails and also does unbelievable tumbling. It takes very little rudder for all aspects of flight and it hovers like no other.
You might also check www.DWFoamies.com for video links to the Skua iun flight.

Mike

BTW- MikeBiv, I can understand the mixup, Skua vs. Juka. You're not the first.

Electric-2000, I will be ordering a Skua before too long. The only thing that is stopping me is that I only recently finished a 38" Juka and I really like it. I was looking at the Pluma biplane, but it's 3mm and has a ton of carbon that has to be glued to it. I think the Skua would be much easier to build and would fly better outdoors too. I'll probably order one soon. Thanks for the info.

Skua 6mm Depron

That was the idea behind designing the Skua. Here in Southern California we don't have any indoor flying venues. Thus, the F3P outdoor design came to thought. We did a lot of testing and ended up with a great flying biplane. You won't be disappointed!

If you really want something big...we will have a 42" BAF Skua available in the next couple weeks!

That sounds like a winner to me. I can keep my Juka, and I've got a setup available that will work on that 42" Skua.
