Hey Nev here is my ducati brushless conversion all finished thanks for all your help m8, it's awesome fast, i only got a couple of runs up & down the street before it started raining, but what a difference it makes having decent radio no more power spike & brakes that work it's a bullet, cant wait to get it on the track & get some vid, it's great how neat it all fits in there, this is the 2.4ghz losi radio gear im using it's a cheap alternative to using the spektrum gear but it's fully compatible with the sr3500 rx & it's 2.4ghz so it will do the job.

Yeah that looks a nice neat conversion, that simple servo saver works great, not lost one servo yet I am having a problem with my Losi set up as the brake sometimes does not work and then it will , any you other brushless boys had this?
Cheers
Steve

No tape for me m8, when it gets scratched up to much it will be a good excuse to repaint it & change the scenery but i can't wait to get it on the track now, hope it's dry tomorrow

Yeah that servo saver is a very clever idea, i did mine slightly different where my arm is on top & is held on by the servo screw but it can free spin on the screw, same principle though where the o ring connects the arm to the servo horn it just worked out better for my arm height to have it on top.

Hey guy's this thread has been a bit quiet so i slapped together some footage from last weekend of me & a mate giving the newly converted brushless silverlits their first run on a decent surface at our local track.
The footage is not great as i had to sit the camera on the side of the track as i had no one to vid it & i nearly hit the camera a couple of times, next time i will use my tripod or hopefully have someone to vid it.
I have to say these bikes are awesome with the brushless motors & decent radio gear they are a totally different bike & great fun.

Yeah sounds good m8, i have tinkered with the idea of making a chassis out of carbon fibre but so i can still run the original fairings & the little HOR but the only problem part i found was where the chassis steps out for the belt so i put it in the too hard bin until i can think of something that will work & look the goods, now get cracking & finish that bike i will buy one.

Cheers.

Yeah m8 i nearly crapped my pants when it was at full throttle & starting to get the high speed wobble while it was heading straight for my camera i could just see it smashing my camera to bits it must have missed the lens by millimeters.

cheers m8

Yeah m8 im hooked on these little bikes now, they are the only road bikes i own at the moment, i do have a nitro arx pro kit i wish it was a HOR, if i ever do get a bigger bike it would have to be the kyosho HOR the moving rider does it for me, i think all the road bikes should have a moving rider even with direct steering, but i just think the detail in the silverlits & the kyosho HOR is awesome.

No brakes that's a bugger, i hope it's not a fault with the losi esc's.

Cheers.

I haven't had any probes with brakes , I setup esc with forward and brake. Not auto brake which comes on after getting off the throttle , not sure if that helps which mode did you guys use?
