Welcome Pipeous. Beware of lalain; he completely lost control
Seriously, he's doing a great job destroying/developing the amazing, addictive Silverlit 1/12.
Yah, you definitely need one.
ciao

Yes, Thanks ZZ-Mass
Not only with Silverlit:
I have started a trike with an old Kyosho Mini-Z pod:

That remeber me my bigger trike, made with a broken Tamiya car and a broken Nikko bike:

Tricycle radiocommandé electrique (1 min 52 sec)

Tricycle radiocommandé electrique fait maison (1 min 23 sec)

Very fun to drive (but sorry nobody help me for the vidéos)

I just try this trike in a very big room with good grip:
- The max speed with my good Mini-Z motor is 25 km/h
- Very hard to drive: In the curves, it fall on exterior side. I'm not happy because it happens with very low speed.
-> I stoppe this and will use the electronic for another bike...

Too bad the trike didn't work out. Cool idea though... I am about to go pick one up. Just waiting for payment to be emt'd for a small job I did... I was speaking to my friend that got one and seems he's having the rider binding mentioned here earlier, but he is having a bit of a tough time pulling the rider off.... is it that tricky?

Unmounting the driver is not that tricky. You need a little bit of patience and to spend some time observing. It's difficult to explain, mostly because of my english but I can tell you this: unmount everything you can (arms, head, legs and the chest of the biker). Careful with the legs cause there are 2 small springs that force the legs to go back in position after a bend. There is no screw to block the back of the biker to the leaning device. if you carefully observe you will find the way to remove also that. I don't know if what I wrote will be useful; I did my best

ps. thanx to everybody for the tips and the suggestions. For now I filled up the biker with lead and mounted 7.4 V lipos and I had a lot of fun! That bike is great but I'm already thinking of changing engines. Before drilling everything "lalain style" did anybody try to stuff mini Z Lit or Boat XSpeed engines in the original frames? At least if the size is the same... thx again

Does anyone know where to get the stock batteries for the Silverlit? If not, is there a plug and play replacement with more voltage? Thanks beforehand.
