Can I put a prop on this motor? What size?
I have a Thunder Tiger Ripper Outrunner Heli OBL 43/11-30H (TTR2379) be used as direct drive in a plane? I was wondering what prop range would be safe and what glow is it comperable to? I also want to know if there is a weight range on plane sizes to use this motor with? I have a few 4-6 lbs. planes that I was thinking on using it on if I can? The specs on the motor are are at http://www.tiger.com.tw/product/2379.html
Another question is battery and esc.....do I need the 75 amp or higher if using a prop? I am new to the conversion and am going to use it in a 30 size Raptor heli if a plane won't work. The plane is a OUYA 40 size F3A here http://www.texasrcplanes.com/ouya40.html

The prop size would be determined by the battery cell count, on 5s I would think about 10x5 -10x7 maybe, which should make it pull much like a 40 glow.

I was thinking a123's but...I have 2 Thunder Power 2100 3 cells I could run together for testing...although I know I wouldn't get much flight time. What would you recommend...anything would help....Nicad, Lipo or a123's I would use any to get about 10 - 20 minutes of flight time as long as the cost is reasonable.
