No, this was just a mock-up of a AIM9 for my girl. But now she wants it to fly......

My life only has time for RC stuff.

Rock ON!!!!

Got a bit more done late last night. I had to glass a small section where my extra ribs went for my wing attachment brackets.

I also now see I need to add to the trailing edge of the center section some CF and 64th ply where my flaps will mount. Was worried I would have to add this, but I am just to be safe.

For those who go to airventure (DAG) Spielberg is holding a contest related to the movie "Red Tails (which ain't bad)," first prize is four plane tickets to airventure,, seats at the Tuskegee Airman reception, and some other stuff (which slipped my mind).

OK all,

Please don't derail this thread too much, please PM me.

I have been playing with a small heli that is a BNF, it has no tail rotor and Contra-rotating props. I have mastered this little thing, plus been doing very well on sims.

My little girl actually does better with helis than fixed wing.

My question... with being virtually broke on hobby money again is there a good BNF heli out there that will work with my JR equipment, needs to be small, and electric....?

Please PM me your thoughts.......

Thanks, Damon

I believe Dags comment about not derailing the thread was in relation to his request about a BNF helicopter....

I am not certain as to which JR radio you have , but most of the Blade helis will bind to a JR DSM2 Tx, and many are cost effective. Otherwise the Blade Scout CX only comes in a RTF and it is under 50 bucks.

This end tonight at midnight!!!!!

Here is the link to airventure contest, which ends tonight at midnight. I realize that I a sidetracking the thread but it seems as though a lot of people here on this thread share an interest in airventure (and warbirds) http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/07...ails-giveaway/

Hey buddy, It has been a very long time, you have been here since the very start. Ok, who let the cat out of the bag????

I was lucky enough to happen my way into a SR120???

I have to travel for 7 days next week so not much chance I will get to play with it. Actually been getting a lot done on the B36 (will post picks soon).

Be safe, and thanks for everything you have done.......
