Here is another link for you if you are rebuilding them. I have bought the 9 pin connectors from here using the 22awg and it works like a charm. They only go one way and have a locking clip built in. Great for joining multiple leads in one go on detachable wings and such. They also come in 6 and 12 pin.

Dreamworks.

They also seem to sell high end components for other applications, not that I have used those yet.

Dag,
I do hope that science experment of Emma's went well and that she gets a great grade on it. We all know you have been busy as a one armed paper hanger these last couple of weeks.

Computer crashes are never fun and I hope you get most of the stuff back.

So you never lose bookmarks again

Create a gmail.com account. use something easy to remember even if you don't use it for your e-mail.

Download google chrome browser and use it as your main browser for now on. You can sign in with the browser using your gmail.com account. All bookmarks you ever save will be stored in the cloud.

You can use chrome on any computer sign in and get all your bookmarks on that computer.

Just remember if its not your computer make sure you sign back out.

I personally use gmail.com and chrome. I don't have another e-mail account I use. Chrome browser has proven to be the most secure browser there is.

Also for important files, I zip them with high encryption and put a password on it, check out dropbox.com, I put my encrypted/ziped files in my dropbox folder. A link to get started with dropbox: http://db.tt/wSuQ9yw Don't put data you don't want others to see in dropbox, because you just never know even though they make you think its secure.
Super nice and free offsite storage.

For family pictures I have an external hard drive I sync my pictures, tax info, etc. to. That HD is in a small fire safe. To make syncing easier search for synctoy its a Microsoft product that is free and easy to use.

Is where I get all my servo connector supplies. They are very reasonable and you can get them in bulk.
I get my wire from Air Wild. http://airwildhobbies.com/MoreInfo.a...&level=2&id=40
I use many many feet of this wire in my large sailplanes, 207 feet in my 34'7' span Nimbus 4
Very nice glider! You may already know this but if you made that glider with 2 more feet of wingspan you could have saved a ton of money on servo wire and used cable and pullies and fly it yourself... I noticed you said "sailplanes" you have more than one? WOW Can you post a link so we can check out the others?

I certainly dont want to sidetrack this thread, so please feel free to visit my website and forum
at www.RcAerotowing.com and www.RcAerotowing.com/forum

Yes, there are many more gliders, one has a self launch system that extends out if the fuse and then after launch, retracts back in, that plane spans 9 meters and weighs 93lbs

Hope to see you there.

A touch off topic, but I keep backups on several USB sticks with encryption built in. In particular, I keep one stick outside of the house (in a shed) in case of fire. Nuff said.

Dropbox is also good for sharing data with friends. I have shared a large Fairchild manual with a fellow modeller in the States, and he can get it easily. I have even sent the contents of a full CD to another friend.

Dropbox can also undelete previously deleted files on its directories; but I don't know about its security issues.
