The Hodges Hobbies Flying B-29 is a traveling team that travels 1000's of miles across the USA. The commentator routine is as much part of the show, just as an X1 launch and piloting of the B29. The pilot Mac himself I spoke with just this past weekend concerning the latest inverted mishap and he chalked it up as another teaching moment. His show is back on top of its game........

Oh and for you non scale flight routine keyboard flyers, Even fresh after the crash Mac still pulled off the inside loop to landing, gear extend top of loop, in a cross wind...... THE MANS GOT SKEEELLLSS..............He headed to Bomber feild this weekend........................

Yes, that was explained earlier in this thread. while on the ground, the nose gear is controlled by a hand wheel, rather that by the yoke.

Well all....

I am in NY and head home in the morning at 6am. I hope this weekend to get my shop cleaned up, and back to the B-36D.

Keep your fingers crossed, but man am I missing cutting and sanding wood, gluing stuff, and the smell of CA.

If i can get into the groove again I think things will really start moving.

Well..... I am getting my shop put back together, and I hope to get all the other junk back into storage. I ordered my new band saw as old one finally died, but it did cut out 7 planes over 8 years.

And I have gotten a bunch e-mails throwing the AMA under the bus about NEFI in Model Aviation. I know a few of you went just to see my Emmaselle1919. And it was really great seeing you all there. And I have no idea why model aviation had every plane there in it but my Emmaselle. Just keep in mind, the AMA is great, and Model Aviation is just a model airplane rag and it does not reflect the great things that the AMA does all the time. Besides I am not looking for press, though it is strange that the local newspaper had a ton of pictures of my Emmaselle, and not one in the MA rag. Oh well, just don't blame the AMA for some guy that wrote an article. And I know that Fly Models asked for a ton of info to do a story about NEFI, at least that is what they said.

Well... the weather is turning cold, and time to build like a mad man.
