The little D-model is coming along a little at a time. I do have more things to take pictures of to show. Might get to that tomorrow. Thanks for giving me a little boost to finish it.

Here is a couple pictures of the bonded fuselage. I spackled it, will sand it before adding the wings and stab.
You will notice the fixture under the fuselage, it is designed to set the wing, stab, and thrust line to the exact angles I used in the design.

I put the nose on the airframe, and spakled and sanded most of it. Still needs a little work. The weight is 4oz ATM, all the parts on the scale shows about 7oz including battery.

Tested the fan for installed thrust. The test stand thrust was ~5oz(5300 motor on 3s) the installed thrust came out @3.1oz this is with no cheaters.

Not bad, I was getting about the same with my dud-tastic Sharpshooter which had a 5800 in it.

Is the fan pretty quiet tucked away in the fuse? I guess I'll have to wait for a maiden video to find out.

Not as quiet as a straight thru inlet would be. This one has a little ess to it. Well at least I have a camera to take the video with now...

Well I have been working on the little F86D. Here are a couple of pictures of it. I have a canopy carved out for it but need to get some magnets to hold it, I should get some this weekend.

Yeah this is a nice looking bird! Did you decide on a paint scheme yet?
