Hey Jim, next time if you really want to show off.
Step 1. Keep your receiver battery voltage VERY LOW!
Step 2. Make sure all your servos die.
Step 3. Quickly grab a rope.
Step 4. While your plane is diving down lasso it in

What do you think?

Trouble with low voltages is the snaps will be a bit slow

I know the moral of the story though....'don't whine when you let someone fly your plane and they wreck it, only whine when they wreck it having asked you if they can fly it'

I reckon a nickname for Jim should be 'PEPPERAMI' as he is obviously a bit of an Animal!

Actually there is a wingless wreck in one of the first post pics on the bench so i reckon He may of tried the lassoo sketch?

Maggie.

Good save Jim... Can you tell us a little more about the repair that had been done? What had broken before and why?

Buy Two

Like cooking a potato in a micro wave. Get 2 the same size watch the timer if the first explodes at 90 seconds cook the second one for 89 seconds.
Or maybe the second potato can handle 90 or 91 seconds... you don't know if you don't try.

Maybe buy 3 of the same plane?

Coming from a new pilot, my comment is I have crashed learning to fly, I'll probably crash even more from stupid mistakes. I can only HOPE that I am allowed the right to break a plane in the sky by pushing it to the very edge.

None the less...

Thank you for the cool video and cool one winged landing!

And thank you more for RC Groups . com

hover landing

Nice work Jim, made me smile big time.

Also...... an alternative for people like me who's brain don't work quick enough for low level knife edge ......... and if it had the grunt would be a hover landing.
