NIB Sailplanes international Mini Racer
While looking for other missing plane parts today, I came across this vintage kit. This is a British kit, obeechi over foam wings, fiberglass fuse, blue tinted canopy. E374 foil. 8.75" root, 6 & 38" tip. wing loading 10-12 oz.
a moderate amount of work to get one ready. have to cap and shape the hardwood LE, wood is included. have to shape the rudder and stabs which are already cut in shape needed. this was when torque tubes were used, obviously thing wing servos would be preferred. probably HS85's or similar would be good. alot of room in fuse for standard servos and radio gear.
so AIlerons, elevator, optional rudder.
no work done on the plane.
$75.00 shipped CONUS. about a third of that will be to cover shipping as box is rather big.
should be a rather cool little bird, scale like in appearance

VERY nice score! The Mini Racer is probably my favorite all-around 60" sloper. It's fast (especially with ballast), rolls like a drill and is very aerobatic, yet it is easy to fly with no bad tendencies. Just be sure to beef up that crispy polyester fuse with extra glass/kevlar.
