Hyperion eos 0610i net & deep cycle battery
I have a new 0610i net and want to use my Maxx-29 deep cycle battery as a PS.
Where do I find the amps on this deep cycle battery? Part of the setup on the 0610i asks for volts and amps. I've searched the web but cannot find anything on amps.
I currently set the charger up for 12volts and 40 amps but I don't know if the amps setting is correct or not.

You do not match the rated Ah of the battery to the charger. You set the charger for the mininum voltage you want the Pb to drop to and set amps. to the max. desired discharge rate .
These setting are really to let you protect a PS not a Pb so much.
Example you have a 12V PS that has a max. rated 20 amps, output so set Net to 12V and 16amps. to keep from stressing PS to its' limits.
I have a DUO and to get max. output of 180 watts per charneel requires a mininum od 15V and 27amps. or 405 watts input. I do not know the requirements for the net .
Assuming net needs a 20% buffer then that would be 300 watts input so set at say 12 volts and 25Amps.
Your 12V / 40A setting is fine just remember to reduce to match your PS when used with it.
