Super Cub Night Flight

I love flying my Super Cub late at night! It is usually completely calm once the sun goes down... I have attached some pics of the LEDs that I use, and they really work great. I have 6 sets of them on my completely stock super cub and the weight does not affect it at all.

In the first video, I was running the camera as well as flying the plane but I hired a camera man for the 2nd video It is much more smooth and he got some cool moon shots, loops, and a nice landing.

Night Flight With My Super Cub (4 min 35 sec)

Night Flight With Super Cub II (5 min 1 sec)

I actually have 6 sets of them on there now and man that plane is lit up :-) I can't remember how much they weigh but I don't notice any difference in the way that the plane flies.

I think I got them for about $8 each. It has been awhile though... I can't remember.

As far as the SuperCub being a good plane for a beginner: YES!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!! YES!!!
The super cub was my very first plane, and I honestly feel that I could fly anything at this point. I actually have 3 super cubs now. I love them.
