Here is one I made also using v.7.37 with less stuff displayed on the screen. It's a awesome piece of hardware. Thanks Eagle Tree!

6 km fpv flight (22 min 48 sec)

wow, all good videos. I especially hate Bracky as I have never been beyond 1600ft... My video cuts out!

I have really enjoyed my osd pro so far. with EagleTree adding features all the time it just keeps getting better.

I'm pretty sure they started going out in the mail on thursday. People should begin receiving them today.

Hi Bill.

At what point do you think you will have all the pre-orders shipped out?

I'm not trying to pressure you, just trying to plan my week.

I want to make sure I have some time set aside when it gets here.

Cheers,
Spud.

Should I upgrade?

I have the OSD (not the Pro) and recently upgraded my camera to a higher res camera, and the problem I am faced with at this moment is that the video flickers as a whole and the text appears to slightly streak/flicker.

I have tried all SECAM, PAL and NTSC but none worked

Yet when I bypass the OSD all works fine or when I use my older camera all works fine.

Anyone got a suggestion?
Here are the specs to my new camera

Image pick-up Device:1/4 SONY COLOR CCD
Number of Pixels: PAL: 500H X 582V
Scanning System: PAL:625Lines 50Field/Sec
Sync System:internal Synchronization
Horizontal resolution:420 TV lines
Gamma Characteristic:0.45
Video output:1.0Vp-p75ohm
S/N Ratio:>=48(AGC OFF)
Electronic Shutter Time: PAL: 1/50-100,000Sec
Usable illumination:0.8 lux (F2.0)
LENS:3.7mm
Audio:yes
Operation Temperature:-10℃ - +50℃ RH95% Max
Power supplyC 12V 500mA

Regards
Elias

Found the problem and fix

Simply the eagle tree OSD is non terminating. (verified with fluke multimeter)

What that means is it wont tie the video signal down with 75ohms

Solution

Put a 75ohm resistor across Video and Gnd (ie: across your shielding and your center core of you video out from the camera) to terminate at the plug going into the OSD

Havent got a 75ohm resistor? (because it's not common) get 2x 150ohm resistors and parallel them up.

Perfect fix, crystal clear video.

Elias

Dont know why I didnt realize this earlier being that I am an electrical engineer, sheesh.....

In the upper right corner of the video I see what appears to be a ham callsign. If this is so, then that solves the 10 minute ID problem when not using part 15 transmitters, making it FCC legal for us hams

I read through the manual, and didn't see anything about this so thought I'd ask...

Yes, there's a custom field for you to enter your call sign (or anything else). You could also put it on another screen and switch to that every 10 minutes.

The note I received from them last week stated they expected my batch to ship today. I'd assume the estimate is similar for other dealers.
