saw the new blade mcx fly today! Horizon hobby was showing off the blade mcx and it does not fly good at all!!!!!! Hover is very stable but forward flight is sloppy! The only the guy could do is hover in place the whole time! Very boring! The air hogs twin thunder can fly better forward then this plane! To make it worse, the front canopy is dentable thin plastic

Are you sure the pilot just didn't know what he was doing?

My Walkera 5G6 is really going to make the mcx look bad if this is true.

and then when I was walking out to go, the horizon guy stopped me and said "did you like it?" I said it was stable but not what I expected He said "what do you mean?" I said "the forward flight isnt that good and it only stays in place most of the time" he said "yeah we know"

I was going to wait for the blade mcx but I bough a 100 dollar foamie kit with electronics included at NEAT!!! Cant wait to fly it!

a 3d plane I got for 20 dollars but with electronics, it was 85 dollars.

anyways, I was very dissapointed in the blade mcx. Was hoping for more forward flight. Oh well I would have returned it anyways if I didnt know.
The guy also did that spinning thing and thats about it. The plastic is very thin and I could dent it by pressing my finger on it.

Most coaxial helis do not have great cyclic response (fast forward/lateral/reverse flight). The lower rotor is conected to the swash plate for control but the upper rotor pivots freely with the weighted flybar acting like a gyro due to centrifigul force. As you fly forward and fed in forward cyclic...the lower blade disc looks like it tiltls forward. As the heli speeds up, the upper disc looks like it titls back negating the input from the lower blade. This is seen in almost all coaxial helis....this is why they are so stable.

Where did you see the MCX fly. I happened to be one of the demo pilots at NEAT flying it, I don't understand your comments. It flies just as well as the CX2, maybe better. Have you actually flown it yourself? Maybe you should before you start judging it and telling everyone on this site that it's not good. Everyone that has flown it have nothing but good comments about it.

all the videos i've seen of it look pretty good to me.
