If those are tx on/off figures, I would take the widest range i.e 3.29/1.62

On my RP8D1 I have 2.11/0.77 and works fine

ok thanks I'll give it a shot and see what happens. oh btw, I have a 10K resistor with a 5% tolerance. Actual resistance is 9.9K... think that will be ok? Or should I find a 1% resistor?

Also, do a range check (with antenna collapsed) and see if the voltage variation is liniar between 3.29 and 1.62V, or there is a trigger behaviour, i.e. it jumps abruptly at a given signal level. Is useful to have this info to know how to react in flight.

This is s two boards receiver, right ?
I am afraid the FM chip is one of the inner sides, hard to investigate...
I would probe the two groups of three pins that connects the two boards together, last picture, bottom side, left and right
