So as you can see on attached pictures, TA7761 on one side so RSSI on pin7 and FP6302B on the other so RSSI also there (see some ealier posts).
Which side do you recommend to pickup the signal to feed ET OSD Pro?
(In either case I guess that a buffer will be needed).

For infos, the RSSI on XPS system is the pin #6 on the xbee pro module.
Take note that it's a PWM of 64uS period, when 24% is on you're at rx's sensibility.
You can add a 100kohm res. and a 10uf cap to filter it into 1-3.6V signal.

RSSI capture for Multiplex RX-12Synth DS IPD and Multiplex RX-9Synth DS IPD
The IC its Philips SA676 and RSSI its on pin 5.
Here is the data sheet http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data.../7/SA676.shtml

It is a multi layered board and the bottom is a solid copper trace...
Desoldering the top board would be a chore for someone with my skills.
I'm going to look at the other JR ScanSelect SPCM receivers to see if I can find a single layer board.

this folder may contain usefull info
I took also RF measurements and DC supply rejection and IF filter width measurements
see the HTML file in the main folder,
you will also see alot of closeup pictures.
most receivers use the same radio chips, so that is actually what you need to google.

I found the chip! It was unmarked and hiding under a capacitor!
I love this seven channel scan select SPCM receiver and use it on all my >1mile machines. It is really too bad the pin is so inaccessible. I fished around on both side of the board looking for a better attachment point but, alas, I could not find one.
No Signal = .205V
Full Signal = .618V
Cool. Now I have to learn how to solder to that tiny pin!
